01.02.07.  Test Report: Valencia, Spain.

The SAF1 Team travelled to Valencia at the end of January to complete a three-day test at Circuit de la Comunitat Valenciana Ricardo Tormo.

Takuma Sato was at the wheel of the SAF1 Team Interim Car for the first two days of the test, when unfortunately poor weather conditions hampered driving.  The weather improved on day three and Anthony was able to complete the test programme, focusing on tyre evaluation of the compounds available from Bridgestone Potenza, whilst also working on set-up, brake material analysis and control system evaluation.

Anthony commented: “It was a good day (Thursday). We completed 133 laps and made up for lost time due to bad weather during the test. We got some important tyre work done and it was interesting working with the different tyre options. We achieved some good longer runs towards the end of the day and
generally I was happy with the balance of the car.”

Sporting Director Graham Taylor said: "Weather spoilt the initial two days of the test, but once again we managed some solid running with both drivers.”
